Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell joined BBC NEWS for a second broadcast on the current UFO situation and what our governments know about it. Corbell discuss the revelations from the recent New York Times publications, as well as the continued efforts from world governments to reverse engineer non-terrestrial spacecraft - not made on this Earth.

Earlier this year video footage was declassified by the US military showing unidentified objects flying alongside military aircraft.
“There's a whole fleet of them, look on the ASA. My gosh! Look at that thing! Whoooa! Got it! Hahaha! Woohoo! Oh my gosh dude. Wow. What is that man? Look at that thing!” - US Fighter Pilots encountering & filming a UFO
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 0:37
That's the pilots talking, as they're tracking the object moving at high speed. The Pentagon said they released them [the UFO videos] to clear up any misconceptions after they were leaked years ago. Well now the investigative filmmaker Jeremy Corbell says, despite claims from the Pentagon that teams investigating Unidentified Flying Objects have been disbanded [that] those probes are actually still being carried out. Recent reports in the New York Times are making the same claims. They say the investigation has been renamed and moved to inside the United States Office of Naval Intelligence. It's believed officials continue to study encounters between military pilots and UFOs. Jeremy Corbell, the documentary filmmaker and director of documentaries on Netflix and Hulu - with me tonight. Jeremy, good evening.
Jeremy Corbell / 1:27
Good evening. Thanks for having me on.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 1:29
It's nice to talk to you. You've been aware of these reports for some time. So this is no surprise to you, Jeremy.
Jeremy Corbell / 1:38
Correct. My mentor in journalism, George Knapp - we have been reporting on these truths for many years. Global media picking up all this information now is really exciting and interesting. I'm glad the public is being informed.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 1:51
What do these videos show? What do they actually show Jeremy. Spell it out to me?
Jeremy Corbell / 1:58
Right. So these are what the military has described as an unidentifieds - unknowns. Anomalous Aerial Vehicles that outpace, outperform - and can shut down our most sophisticated weapons systems. That's what these videos show. These are UFOs. And if people don't understand that, they just haven't been paying attention. We're living in a different world now - since December of 2017. It's a world where UFOs are acknowledged - that they're indeed real - that it's worthy of scientific exploration.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 2:38
And there obviously could be Jeremy, different countries developing technology far faster than our understanding of what's possible.
Jeremy Corbell / 2:52
Let me shut you down right there. That is something that is said by numerous people. That is actually one of the fears of The United States military as well as your military - that there was some sort of technological leapfrog by another nation - a hostile nation. However, that is absolutely patently false. And we know it. These vehicles have been displaying themselves since the beginning of recorded human history or certainly, since any developed technological nation or military. Our optics systems, our ability to track these on radar - actually to engage them - like Commander David Fravor did on the west coast of California that was reported in the New York Times. So these are not technologies that were built here on Earth by humans. I know that's a big statement to make. But the New York Times reported on this very recently, and I quote... "off-world vehicles not made on Earth". Our Department of Defense was briefed on this situation - they're aware of it. We now know there are two active UFO study programs within the United States military and your government as well. So the idea that these are some other nation that has somehow leapfrogged technologically, anything human beings have ever created in any arsenal on planet Earth is patently false - because the evidence suggests so much.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 4:26
And that evidence - can you describe to me - because we all understand what is within technology at the moment. We understand how machines are propelled we understand spacecraft... what do these videos show happening, which is just completely outside the norm.
Jeremy Corbell / 4:48
Okay. So to be clear to all of your listeners. There are three acknowledged Pentagon released videos of UFOs. These are Advanced Aerial Spacecraft. This has been acknowledged again by our government, but also within the UK. That there are studies being done on these technologies. Whoever can figure out and exploit derivative technologies - that we are witnessing, that are flying with impunity within our airspace over advanced facilities [and] weapons systems - whoever can figure this out first, whatever nation can figure this out first... they win. It's an extraordinary technology. It negates everything that we thought we knew about transmedium aircraft - about space travel. These are being seen, they're being reported. And in these videos you can see these extraordinary craft of unknown origin operated by somebody that we can't identify. That again, outpace, outmaneuver and can shut down actively - our weapon systems, our most sensitive weapon systems. And don't take my word for it. This is something that's been revealed through major media. This is something that the New York Times broke this story twice. And the most recent one, it's the most chilling. It's an admission of briefings. And again I quote, of "off-world vehicles not made on this Earth".
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 6:30
So who do you think has built them? Who's flying them?
Jeremy Corbell / 6:35
That's the trillion dollar question. Somebody, somewhere, has developed a gravitational propulsion system - a field propulsion system. It's not a reactionary propulsion system. You push something at the back and you move forward. That's how everything we know works. That's how propulsion works. Except that it doesn't. These crafts demonstrate the ability to negate inertia. They suspect our military actually knows how they operate. It is through gravity wave amplification. So it changes the whole dynamic of what we think about propulsion - about humanity on Earth. That there are crafts that are sophisticated, they are advanced technologically. So the trillion dollar question, the question we SHOULD be asking right now - is WHO is piloting these vehicles? And WHAT is their intent?
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 7:41
How do you answer that? What is their intent?
Jeremy Corbell / 7:45
I don't know. I certainly have not been briefed on that.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 7:51
Your documentary on Netflix it follows the stories - fantastic stuff by the way Jeremy - it follows the stories around a man called Bob Lazar. Who was he? For those people who haven't seen this on Netflix yet.
Jeremy Corbell / 8:06
So everybody around the world has heard about Area 51. The reason everybody around the world has heard about Area 51 - is because in 1989, a man named Bob Lazar came forward to a journalist named George Knapp. At that time, Bob Lazar told a story. He told his account of being employed by the United States military to attempt to reverse engineer extraterrestrial spacecraft. That it was a secret project within Area 51 (a sub-base of Area 51 called Site 4). And for 30 years, people have been trying to dismiss his claims. They've been trying to attack the messenger in order to diminish and put down what he said. However, over 30 years the only thing that's happened is that Bob Lazar our each day is becoming vindicated. So that's why you know about Area 51. That's the story that Bob Lazar told all of us - over 30 years ago, in 1989. And that's why I made my movie - the Netflix movie Bob Lazar : Area 51 & Flying Saucers. It was because I was curious. Is Bob Lazar worthy of our trust? And I can tell you now and I can tell you today - that he is worthy of your trust. That Bob Lazar is saying it exactly how it happened. He worked on craft not of this earth - a propulsion system and a fuel source - that was far technologically beyond anything that humanity has ever made. And to see now the New York Times and the world media picking this up - and a grateful that you are to be your audience - people need to know this. They need to make their own decisions.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 10:03
But people don't want to believe this, do they? They want an understanding of what they can see what they touch. They want to understand the world, as they’ve known it throughout it their whole life. People don't want to believe in … surely.
Jeremy Corbell / 10:18
You know, I disagree. I think people too much want to believe in the subject of UFOs. But it's not a matter of belief. UFOs has never been a matter of belief. It's either true, or it's not true. I no longer have the luxury of disbelief because I have been paying attention. I've been breaking these stories. If anybody takes a rational mind, and looks at the subject and looks at what has been reported on just as a recent with the New York Times and other outlets - you will see the UFO presence on planet Earth is real. There are crafted unknown origin flying with impunity through our airspace and disarming our greatest weaponry and arsenals. This is a matter of national security. And it is a matter of mystery is one of the greatest Unsolved Mysteries on planet Earth. Because the implications of what it means there are other civilizations that not only have advanced and developed, but have also visited our planet. That… when people start to understand that, except that… that is something that weaponizes our curiosity, that is something that transforms an individual from looking up to heaven and saying, maybe we're not alone. Maybe they're out there. In fact, they'r… they're coming here.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 11:48
What do you think Trump was talking about Jeremy? And when he says it was a son Donald Trump Jr. It was a June interview. He said he knew something very interesting, very interesting things about Roswell is what he said.
Jeremy Corbell / 12:07
Yeah he might. I don't know, I'm not part of this presidential briefings. I do know that the Senate Intelligence Committee is actively looking for transparency on all the active reverse engineering and UFO programs that span all through every branch of our military. President Donald Trump also misspoke. He didn't mean Roswell. He meant Area 51 - which is interesting that he misspoke - but it happened.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 12:40
You have [had] a deep fascination in this [subject] since you were a little boy...
Jeremy Corbell / 12:46
Well, I was 13 years old and I heard on the radio a man named Bob Lazar that we just talked about. And my now mentor in journalism, George Knapp, investigative reporter... he was interviewing Bob. And that moment that switched for me. I wanted to know the truth. I wanted to know if Bob Lazar was telling it like it is. I heard him describe a propulsion system. A propulsion system that negates any problem of traveling via distance. It was the idea of a gravity wave propulsion system. And I got to tell you, every step of the way, Bob Lazar has been vindicated. It's fascinating. It's another little piece to this big mystery and puzzle. The question humanity asks itself since the inception of human beings on planet Earth. Are we alone in the universe? And are they visiting here?
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 13:50
Well, if they are visiting here they haven't revealed themselves to us too often, haven’t they?
Jeremy Corbell / 13:55
If they wanted to reveal themselves, they would reveal themselves. However, I would debate that I. I would say a lot has been revealed. Every single person that I speak with - and I encourage your audience - I encourage your audience to ask the person next to them. Ask their family, their friends, people that they respect. Have they ever seen anything unidentified? Have they had an encounter? You would be surprised. The social stigma is alive. The social stigma about UFOs. Why? this should be a topic of great scientific vigor. I challenge the scientific community. I challenge people like Neil deGrasse Tyson - people that are at the forefront of science and technology - to look at the evidence, to analyze the evidence. These are incredible times. You have been told. UFOs are real. Spaceship, crafts of unknown origin - highly advanced, You've been told. So, physicists, scientists, I challenge the scientific community. They should be salivating over the opportunity.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 15:05
Chris is in [inaudiable] wants to speak to you tonight Jeremy. Hello, Chris.
Chris [radio caller] / 15:10
Hi, Steven. Hi, Jeremy.
Jeremy Corbell / 15:11
Hi Chris.
Chris [radio caller] / 15:15
How can you be 100% sure that not all these objects are NOT military or from hostile powers? How can you be SO sure? Because we know [our military] develops the best tech throughout history. Right?
Jeremy Corbell / 15:37
Very intelligent question, Chris. And thank you so much. I'd like to make it clear. I never stated that. I never stated that, not for one second. We can't be sure that what is seen in the skies is ours or theirs. But we can separate the difference in the propulsion systems. There is a mode of operation that all world governments - the UK as well as United States on the forefront - we are exploring, trying to understand the methodologies with which these crafts operate. Because they are so far advanced. And I'll tell you this - our material science is the only thing holding us back. We understand to a great degree, how these crafts operate. How these pilots have come forward, heroically - pilots we trust to defend our countries - and they've reported it to us seeing craft that seemed to defy our known laws of physics... and I quote "with impossible speeds", with instantaneous acceleration. So I never once said that everything is seen in the sky, we can completely exclude other militaries. I did not say that. What I am saying, as a civilian, when you listen to our militaries talk about this - it is a matter of National Security. UFOs are real. They're of unknown origin. So I don't know where they're from. Nobody knows precisely where they from, that I now... but we cannot say that these are anything terrestrial by the propulsion systems. Full stop.
Chris [radio caller] / 17:21
Well of course you always the Bentwaters case back in the 1980s, where a UFO actually went to an American airbase and was spotted back there - and that was declassified. And that they [UFOs] were allegedly shooting light rays at nuclear bunkers with nuclear weapons in them. Now, if that's not a case (1982 or 1983) - if that's not a case of National Security for the WHOLE planet - I don't know what is. If they didn't know then, what that object was, what it was doing and affecting a nuclear facility. If I didn't bring it up, I'm worried were just going around in the same circles...
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 17:58
Let Jeremy reply Chris.
Jeremy Corbell / 18:00
Yeah, let me let me respond to that. I'm really glad you brought that up. This is not theory. This is not speculation. We have the documents and the individuals that have come forward expressing this concern. That there were nuclear locations and actually Minuteman Missiles here at Malmstrom Air Force Base - and they were shut down. They were shut down one at a time on independent systems. At the same time - in the public realm there are documents how this happened in Russia. This has happened in most modernized nations that have new nuclear powers. So this is - from a military perspective - something that is a great national and global concern. However, because these crafts represent a technology, and most likely a civilization that is way far more technologically advanced than us... nothing horrible has happened yet. So I remain positive, that whatever this visitation is - that seems to have been going on since the beginning of recorded human history - that it is not menevolent that it is something should be studied by the scientific communities.
BBC NEWS / Stephen Nolan / 19:21
We're looking forward to watching more of your documentaries and thanks very much indeed for being so engaging tonight - really appreciate it Jeremy. Jeremy Corbell, documentary filmmaker, Director of documentaries on Netflix and Hulu.
